Another Historical Journey Mission is to organize groups from students to seniors with a desire to explore, discover and learn of our great American History. We travel back to times in history, following in the footprints of the Underground Railroad, The Civil Rights Movement, College/University tours, to culture/civic and, Social events and ground – breaking historical events.
Our passion is to recapture moments in history to sense the struggle that our forefathers must have felt as they escaped bondage, for freedom, justice and equality.
The purpose is for all cultures and races to become more knowledgeable and aware of our rich African American Heritage. By traveling to the destination, we share in the experience and pay homage to the many that paved the way.
Instilling valuable information to our youth will enhance their awareness, give hope, raise self-esteem and motivate them to dream and prepare for a successful future by staying focused on education.
